What We Make Our Jewelry From: Air-Dry Clay and Epoxy Resin

Every GENNE piece is handcrafted from two core materials — air-dry clay and epoxy resin. Here's why we chose them.

Air-Dry Clay

We use air-dry clay — a modern material that doesn't require kiln firing. The clay hardens naturally in 24–48 hours, becoming strong, lightweight, and pleasant to touch. Unlike polymer clay that needs oven baking, air-dry clay retains a more natural, matte texture — like real ceramics, but much lighter.

Epoxy Resin

To protect and add shine, we coat finished beads with epoxy resin. This transparent coating makes the jewelry water-resistant, adds color depth and a beautiful gloss. Epoxy also significantly increases durability — beads won't crack or crumble during wear.

Why These Materials?

The combination of clay and epoxy gives us freedom of form — we sculpt fruits, flowers, berries, abstract shapes. Every bead is unique because it's handmade. And the epoxy coating makes the jewelry practical for everyday wear.

The Perfect Georgia Souvenir

Our jewelry makes a wonderful gift and souvenir from Tbilisi, Georgia. Lightweight, colorful, unique — they'll remind you of sunny Georgia every time you wear them. You can even design your own piece using our jewelry constructor, choosing beads to your taste.
